Job Description/Duties
This role is for a baker, who is excited to work with seasonal recipes and ingredients from local producers. Primary duties include the production of items for Farm Stop’s bakery and cafe including cookies, quick breads, crackers, pies, quiche, cakes, breads, waffles and beverage syrups. Secondary duties include processing seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as assisting with production of sandwiches and packaging food items for retail. They also work with the team to wash dishes and participate in kitchen cleaning tasks.
Baking experience is required, however training on specific recipes will be provided. The initial focus will be on existing recipes, however there may be future opportunities to contribute new recipes.
Early morning, weekend, or evening availability is a plus.
Pay rate
$15.00 plus tips, current tips average $1.50-$2.00/hour
Full or part time, depending on candidate’s availability
