Prep Cook
Job Description/Duties
This role is for a prep cook, who is excited to work with seasonal recipes and ingredients from local producers. Primary duties will include assisting in the production of savory food items including sandwiches, soups, spreads and dips, salads. The prep cook will also assist in packaging food items for retail. They will also work with the team to wash dishes and participate in kitchen cleaning tasks.
Kitchen experience is preferred. Previous experience as a prep cook is helpful as are skills such as vegetable prep and basic cooking techniques such as sauteing, roasting, and blanching. Training will be provided.
Pay rate
$15.00 plus tips, current ave. $1.50-$2
15 hours per week with potential for growth
